My thoughts & feels :
- The highlight of this trilogy for me -besides my absolute love for the Darkling's obviously- was the world building since it was based on Russian folklore mixed with the fantasy elements at first it was kinda hard to understand it completely but once i got halfway through the first book everything clicked together, and it was wonderful .
- in terms of characters and character development through out the story i wasn't the biggest fan of Alina & Mal and their romance wasn't the best thing either, however i loooved the rest of the cast they were clever, funny, and very interesting to read about till the very end.
- finally this trilogy has action, excellent writing style with a very Epic finale -you might cry at the end though ,i know i did- and a very cool concept highly recommended .
- overall 4/5 stars for the whole series .
